Matthew has an extensive track record in advising multi-national companies, venture capital and private equity-funded SMEs, owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organisations on privacy issues, including data protection and GDPR, and how to protect their confidential business information.
He is also a partner in our affiliated UK law firm, Willans LLP, and in that capacity practises as an English-qualified solicitor, having been qualified for over 20 years.
Matthew studied at the University of Cambridge, gaining a bachelor’s degree in law and modern languages, and a master’s degree in law. He started his legal career at a City of London law firm where he advised many household-name European companies.
He is a certified member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Kym offers pragmatic and practical solutions for businesses, advising them on how to comply with their GDPR obligations. She also provides in-house training, delivers seminars and can act as a Data Protection Officer.
She is a City of London trained commercial solicitor with over 25 years of experience and in that capacity is a consultant to our affiliated UK law firm, Willans LLP. She predominantly works with global brands.
She qualified in European law at the Universities of Warwick and Lille and speaks fluent French.
She is a certified member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
